WWE SummerSlam future locations to see where the biggest Premium Live Event in wrestling of the summer will be heading next.

WWE SummerSlam is one of the flagship professional wrestling events annually. While certainly not on the level of spectacle as WrestleMania, it’s a massive WWE event that fans will always tune into. And if you’re lucky enough or eager enough, it’s one of the hottest tickets on the market too.

After we saw WrestleMania 39 take place in “Hollywood”, or more specifically at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA, WWE SummerSlam 2023 will take us to a more blue-collar city as it will be held at Ford Field in Detroit. It’s the first time that WWE has come to the home of the Detroit Lions at Ford Field since 2007, which should make for a raucous crowd.

One thing that fans are always wondering about, however, is where WWE SummerSlam or any of the major Premium Live Events are heading next. It’s not something that the pro wrestling company typically schedules out in advance. But let’s try to answer some questions about the WWE SummerSlam future locations for 2024, 2025 and moving forward.

The WWE SummerSlam location for 2024 has not yet been officially announced. That is also the case for 2025 as we simply do not have the WWE calendar for the future locations outside of WrestleMania 40 being at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA.

Possible future locations for WWE SummerSlam 2024, however, include various options. One would definitely be a return to the northeast. From 2015-18, the event was held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. Given the look for bigger stadiums, though, they have gone back to moving to other parts of the country. However, that could open the door for venues like Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA or even MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.

With that being said, WrestleMania being in Philadelphia could push WWE away from the northeast to not put two of their biggest events in the same area. As such, I would look to either Florida or to the western part of the United States with Miami, Orlando, Phoenix, Denver, San Francisco (Santa Clara) or Seattle being possible options.

We will keep you updated in this space with any updates about future WWE SummerSlam locations when that information is revealed.

Before we leave, let’s also take a look at the WWE SummerSlam locations since the event was first held in 1988 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, NY.
